2018 Association Leadership Conference is May 5th

Don’t wait for next season to learn more about the initiatives, opportunities and education available for ALL hockey associations in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts Hockey is hosting the 2018 Association Leadership Conference Sponsored by Pure Hockey. The event takes place on Sat., May 5, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sheraton Needham Hotel, 100 Cabot Street, Needham, MA 02494.

This day will provide direction and resources for veteran leaders and new volunteers to learn how to provide the best experiences for their hockey players.

By attending, you will have a chance to WIN equipment for your association, such as the QuickChange Goalie Equipment, OneGoal Gear and Hockey Bumper System.

Last year’s attendees are already planning on joining again this season and to learn even more!

"We wish we had all of our board members here to soak in all this great information," said an attendee from last year's conference. 

There will be a roundtable discussion, small discussion breakout groups and a SPECIAL main speaker during lunch. The speaker will be announced soon.

Schedule and topics are subject to change on availability. The schedule will be posted closer to the event date.

Growing and Sustaining Your Organization with Andy Gibson, USA Hockey Coordinator for Program Services. Also, he will review USA Hockey’s Club Excellence tool.

ADM/Player Development for a Long-Term Hockey Culture with Roger Grillo, USA Hockey Regional Manager of the American Development Model.

Milton Youth Hockey will go over their Learn to Play program and how to build a culture around those logistics.

Cambridge Youth Hockey will discuss growing their hockey membership with other sports in the community and non-traditional hockey families.
