Eight to Represent Massachusetts in 2018 Winter Games

Eight Massachusetts native were named to the 2018 U.S. Men's and Women's Olympic teams on January 1. 

Congrats to you all and best of luck in the quest for gold in Pyeongchang, South Korea!

Don't forget, the 2018 Winter Olympics being February 9. The U.S. women will open play first, taking on Finland on Feb. 11. The U.S. men will begin Group B play on Feb. 14 against Slovenia.

On the men's side five Massachusetts natives will take the ice with Team USA -- the highest represented state on the team. In addition to the players, assistant coaches Scott Young (Clinton native and U.S. and Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame member) and Keith Allain (Worcester native and 2013 NCAA National Championship and Current Yale Head Coach) will also be representing Massachusetts.

For the women, three players from Massachusetts will dot the roster, in addition to assistant coach Paul Mara (Belmont native and NHL Veteran) and USA Hockey Communications Manager Andrea Mazzarelli (Revere).
