Moms: Want to Learn How to Play Hockey?

Hingham Girls Hockey is pleased to announce their HarborMOMS Learn to Play Program for moms with skating experience who want to learn basic hockey skills in a fun environment.

Participants will work on hockey skating, puck handling skills, and game concepts through fun drills and small area games. Players must be able to skate around on the ice confidently and be able to come to a controlled stop. 
Program details are as follows:

Dates:  Five Wednesdays in March- 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/26*, 3/29
Time:  Wednesdays- 8:15-9:05pm/*Sunday 11:00-11:50am
Location:  Pilgrim B (Middle Rink)/*Pilgrim A
Practice Format:  Skating and puck control drills, game condition drills, and small area games
Equipment Required:  Full hockey protective equipment (shin guards, shoulder and elbow pads, hockey pants, helmet, hockey skates, hockey stick, and hockey jersey
Cost:  $100 plus $40 to register with USA Hockey
Limit: Due to the size of the rink, the program will be limited to 20 participants on a first come first served basis. Registration will open on Monday, January 16th.

To register for this program, please first go to the USA Hockey website to register as a player, then to the Hingham Girls Hockey website to register for HarborMOMS Learn to Play.

USA Hockey Registration -

Follow the instructions on the USA Hockey to obtain the USA Hockey Registration number. You will need this when you Register on the HGH website.

HGH Registration  - 

Registration Instructions: 
1) Log into the Registration account using your daughter’s credentials
2) Select 2016-2017 Player Registration where your (the Hockey Mom) name appears.  Click on Register Now
3) Fill in required Personal Information including the Hockey USA Number.  Click Save and Proceed to Step 2
4) Select  Harbormoms Learn to Play - Sessions Dues – and then complete Steps 3 & 4
