2015-16 Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame Nominations Due Soon!
Do you know someone who is worthy of induction to the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame? It is “last call” for nominations for this year’s class which will be formally inducted in a ceremony in June 2016 as part of the Massachusetts Hockey Annual Meeting. Inductees to the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame are chosen on the basis of accomplishments in the game of hockey, sportsmanship, character, and contributions to his/her teams or organizations in youth, amateur, college or professional hockey. Each nominee must have distinguished himself/herself by exceptional performance and outstanding character reflecting favorably upon the game of hockey in Massachusetts, be in good public standing in the community, an appropriate role model for young hockey players and an exemplary representative of the game of hockey.

The Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame Committee meet this week to discuss this years event. The Committee will be making the following changes to the process.
All nominations must be in writing and effective now any new nominations must utilize the attached form.
All nomination must be received by October 1st to be considered for this seasons Class.
The committee will be meeting in October to finalize the awardees. at this point NO person has been either formally selected or discussed.
The Committee has also voted to move the event from the November time frame to June where it will be celebrate as part of our Annual Meeting.
Finally we will be sharing this information with all of our members in an upcoming email with the hope of getting them involved and informing them of the fact that there is the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame.
