Are you interested in participating in the 2020 Girls Massachusetts Hockey CCM High Performance Festival? Read more below about the entire process on how to be chosen for the festival.

These tryouts are the first step in the path to selection for the 2020 USA Hockey National Player Development Camps & 2020 Eastern Regional Camp for 2006 birth years.

Over the past few years, the CCM High Performance program has provided opportunities for female players like Kacey Bellamy, Katie Burt, Alex Carpenter, Meghan Duggan and Sammy Davis.

All female players registered with a Massachusetts address with a 2003, 2004, 2005 or 2006 birth year are eligible to participate in the OPEN tryout if not already pre-selected for the MH CCM Girls HP Festival.

First, a committee of NCAA coaches have been and still are evaluating the players at eligible birth years at various hockey events, including the Massachusetts Hockey State Championship.

2003 & 2004 Female Players ONLY:

Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 at 9 AM EST

Pre-selected 2003 & 2004 female players for the 2020 MH Girls CCM HP Festival will receive individual invitations & have their names posted online here. These players DO NOT need to register for the TRYOUT.

ANY 2003 & 2004 female players who were NOT pre-selected for the festival are encouraged to register and attend the OPEN TRYOUT to be considered for the festival.

When is the Open Tryout?

The OPEN Tryout for the 2020 MH Girls CCM HP Festival will be on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at New England Sports Center at 121 Donald Lynch Blvd, Marlborough, MA 01752 on Rink 2.

Each player attending the OPEN tryout is REQUIRED to register online prior to the start of the tryout. No player will be allowed to participate without registering online.

The below times will be available for the OPEN tryout:

2003 Birth Year: 1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.

2004 Birth Year: 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.

2005 Birth Year: 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m

2006 Birth Year: 8:00 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.

Tryout openings are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Once all openings are filled, there will be a waitlist.

The cost for the tryout is $50.

What happens after the tryout?

After being evaluated at the tryout, approximately 80 players for each birth year (including those pre-selected and those at the open tryout) are invited to participate in the 2020 Girls MH CCM HP Festival from Friday, April 17, 2020 to Sunday, April 19, 2020 at New England Sports Center at 121 Donald Lynch Blvd, Marlborough, MA 01752.

2006 female players will be selected AFTER the festival to participate in the Girls 14 Eastern Select Camp from June 26 to June 30, 2020 at St. Anselm College, Manchester, NH.
 
After being evaluated at the festival, 2003, 2004 and 2005 female players will be invited to participate in the 2020 USA Hockey National Player Development Camp at the end of June and/or middle/end of July. Dates dependent on eligible birth year. Click here for the camp schedule.

Also, players selected for the National Player Development Camp will be invited to participate in the Massachusetts Select Hockey Camp from Friday, June 5, 2020 to Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Walter Brown Arena at Boston University, 285 Babcock Street, Boston, MA 01752.

Each player listed should be receiving an email with a direct invite to the 2020 Girls Massachusetts Hockey CCM High Performance Festival. If a player listed does not receive an email, please reach out to playerdev@mahockey.org.
