Massachusetts Hockey provides subsidies to make the sport of ice hockey more enjoyable for our participants and make it easier for programs to offer a positive experience to their members.
This subsidy offers $2,500 to any Massachusetts Hockey registered program that wishes to purchase a set of “hard dividers” for their programs to play on age-appropriate playing surfaces, as required in the USA Hockey playing rules.
The approved dividers are quick and easy ways to divide the rink and provide cross-ice training using the USA Hockey American Development Model. Cross ice hockey allows players to increase the number of times they touch the puck, their puck possession time and overall speed in playing situations. This translates into quicker development of individual skills and a passion for the game.
Please register and make payment by clicking on the Massachusetts Hockey Hard Divider Subsidy link below this description.
The association commits to purchase one set of "hard divider" boards through Massachusetts Hockey. The total retail cost is $6,385 which is reduced by the Massachusetts Hockey subsidy. The program is only responsible to pay $3885 plus shipping costs (not to exceed $800) to Massachusetts Hockey.
Payment will be made as follows:
Once payment is made, the association/program will be contacted to arrange for delivery.
