Keith Carter Appointed as Director of Coaching Education

New Massachusetts Hockey Director of Coaching Education

Massachusetts Hockey is happy to announce the addition of our new Director of Coaching Education, Keith Carter.

Keith is a Level 5 certified USA Hockey coach from Lancaster, Mass. He currently is an Assistant Coach for Nashoba Regional High School Boy's Ice Hockey Varsity team and Head Coach for the Nashoba Regional High School Boy's Ice Hockey Junior Varsity team.

USA Hockey Coach-in-Chief for Massachusetts Paul Moore highly recommends Keith joining Massachusetts Hockey.

As Director of Coaching Education, Keith will be in charge of implementation of all of USA Hockey and Massachusetts Hockey's coaching education initiatives across the district.

Keith's enthusiastic drive to educate the coaches in Massachusetts is contagious. He is looking to share his coaching knowledge and the knowledge from USA Hockey and others. He has coached for numerous organizations including but not limited to Assabet Valley Patriots, Central Mass Outlaws and Twin City Youth Hockey.

He is a born and bred former Massachusetts player at the youth, high school and collegiate level. This includes playing during the 1980's at UMass Boston and University of Michigan. Also, he played growing up in the Hudson area.

Keith is a father of four boys, who all play youth ice hockey in Massachusetts. Also, he works full time as Senior Solutions Engineer at Cradlepoint, cloud-based network solutions for connecting people, places, and things over wired and wireless broadband.
