Paul S. Surette, 87, of Falmouth, Mass., died January 2.

He was one of the founders, registrars and directors of the state Amateur Hockey Association, now known as Massachusetts Hockey.

He was inducted into the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame in the builders category in 2009.
