2nd Annual Comm Ave Charity Classic

All-Star cast playing hockey to raise proceeds for Compassionate Care ALS and The Travis Roy Foundation.

The 2nd Annual Comm Ave Charity Classic will be played on Fri., July 15th at 7:05 p.m. at Walter Brown Arena at Boston University.
 
This year’s players include: From Boston College: Johnny Gaudreau, Kevin Hayes, Jimmy Hayes, Noah Hanifin, and Brian Leetch. From Boston University: Charlie Coyle, Colin Wilson, Matt Grzelcyk, Brian Strait, John McCarthy and Jay Pandolfo.
 
Also, 2016 Stanley Cup winners will be in the lineups, Brian Dumoulin for BC, Nick Bonino for BU and Conor Sheary as a special guest
 
Craig Adams, former Pittsburgh Penguin, from Harvard, and son in law of the late Paul Cellucci (former Mass Governor who passed away from ALS) will be a special guest as well.
 
Proceeds will go directly to Compassionate Care ALS and The Travis Roy Foundation.
 
Last year, the game raised over $55,000 for Compassionate Care ALS. It is a nonprofit Falmouth based organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of those living with ALS.
 
The game featured 27 current or former NHL players, 3 Hobey Baker Award Winners, 2 Stanley Cup Champions, and 2 NHL Hall of Famers.
 
The event is organized by two former Boston College Hockey players, Andrew Orpik (2009) and Pat Mullane (2013).
